The Body and Blood

The first band that Michael Jarrett played in was The Body and Blood. Formed in 1985, The Body and Blood created their own unique blend of rock, folk, country and blues in basements and garages on the West Island of Montreal. The group lasted until 1992 and consisted of Michael Jarrett, Bradley Ketterling, Chip Paldy and Mark Rief. In Ruins was released in 2015 as a thirtieth anniversary commemorative album. It includes five compositions by the band that were remastered from the original four track recordings. In Ruins is the only album ever released by the band.
